First Leap

First Leap China was established in Beijing in 2009,  providing after-school English training which has expanded to over 100 centers in 30 cities across China. It is also part of Tal and one of the largest educational group in China. They have both online and on-site teaching programs. They hire native English speakers from the UK, US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, and South Africa. They are looking for teachers with a bachelor degree or above. A TEFL or other teaching certificate and 2-year teaching experience are required. Teachers will give a group class for 10 to 14 students aged from 2 to 15 years old.  For on-site teaching, the rate they offer is from $1,960 – $2,500 per month for newly teacher and teachers are able to get $3,040 – $3,620 after have a long-term working relation. A minumum of 36 hours per week is required. For online teaching, they are looking for native Speakers as well, and the rate is about $21 per hour.
