How to create a TR resume?

After registration, you can enter your account, and find "My Resume" menu, you just need fill in the items with red *. Then your TR resume is created, and you can start to apply for jobs.

Is it necessary to have 100% completion of the resume?

There is no need to have your TR resume in 100% completion, as there are some optional items without red *. However, if you want to make your resume more attractive, we suggest that you can make your resume as complete as you could.

How to upload personal video?

After registration, you can enter your account, and find "My Resume" menu. Then you can upload a video under "Personal Video".

What kind of video should I upload?

The type of video you should upload depends on what video you have and the specific requirements of the employers you're applying to. Here are some guidelines to help you decide:

  • If you only have one video, it's recommended to upload it as soon as possible, which is better than none.
  • If you have both self-introduction video and demo video, normally employers would prefer to see your demo video.
  • If an employer explicitly asks for a specific video, you should follow their suggestion and upload a video that suits to their preferences.

Can't upload personal videos

If you can't upload videos to your resume, it might be due to one of the following:

  • TR resume only supports one video, two or more videos are not accepted.
  • Your video is not in MP4 or MOV format.
  • Video size exceeds 130MB, smaller video is easy to be uploaded.
  • There's a temporary network issue, you can try to wait for a while to use a faster network.

Can't save or submit your resume?

If you can't save or submit your resume, it might be due to one of the following:

  • Items with red * are not filled.
  • You have added personal contacts, links or relevant words.
  • There's a temporary network issue.

Who can see my contact information in the resume?

Once you apply for a job, employers can view your resume without contact information. However, if you successfully interview with a particular employer, and they extend an offer, your contact details on the resume become visible to that specific employer.

How to successfully submit a job application?

If you want to successfully submit a job application, you can follow the steps below:

  • 1.Complete your TeacherRecord resume.
  • 2.Find a specific job and click "Apply Now"
  • 3.If you see an "Application Submitted" popup, it means your application is successfully submitted.

Job application status tracking

When will the school review and process my application?

  • The time it takes to receive a reply or result after a job application can vary. It typically depends on the hiring process of the employer.
  • As a job site, TeacherRecord cannot know when a school will review and process your job application.
  • If you haven't heard back within a reasonable timeframe, you can send a message to the employer through the chat-box or try to apply for other jobs.

The meaning of multiple application statuses

Here are some application statuses after your job application is submitted:

  • Waiting for Appointment:This means an employer has accepted your application and their HR has sent you an interview invitation.
  • Waiting for Response:This shows our application has been submitted, but the employer hasn't had a chance to review it yet.
  • Received by Employer:This indicates an employer has received your application, but they have not yet processed it or made a decision.
  • Not Selected by Employer:This implies an employer has evaluated your application but decided not to accept it.

Why was my application rejected?

Application Rejected: When your application status changes to "Not Selected by Employer", it means that a specific employer has chosen not to proceed with your application. Please note that as a job site, TeacherRecord does not know the reason why you were rejected by a certain employer. Employers directly make their recruitment decisions.

How to contact employers?

Contacting Employers: Here are a few ways to get in touch with the employers you've applied to:

  • If your application is not selected by an employer, you can use the chat box on the platform to send a direct message to the employer.
  • If an employer has an "Outside the platform" recruitment process, they may reach out to you directly using the contact information you provided in your resume.
  • For employers with an "On-platform" recruitment process, you can engage with them in the online virtual interview room after booking an interview on the platform.
  • After a successful interview on the platform and if the employer decides to extend an offer, you will be provided with their contact details, so you can reach out to them directly.
