Teach English Online (Regular class schedules with guaranteed income)

Duties and Responsibilities

1.       Teach online English classes to students.

2.       Encourage student participation and lead student discussions to keep them active and engaged in learning.

3.       Plan and prepare for online classes by reviewing teaching materials.

4.       Assess and monitor individual student performance to ensure students are keeping up with the course and not falling behind the rest of the class.

5.       Attend iHuman trainings and apply feedback where it is considered beneficial for the student learning experience.

6.       Provide feedback on student performance and courseware design when necessary.

7.       Support and train to new teachers after becoming an established at iHuman.

Skills

1.       Leadership to maintain virtual classroom discipline and to successfully guide students through lessons to meet objectives.

2.       Motivational skills and strategies to encourage students to learn and keep them engaged in their own education. Able to lead students through a dynamic story-based environment.

3.       Possess exceptional planning and multitasking skills.

4.       Strong verbal and written communication skills to instruct and educate students.

5.       Should have exemplary problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.

6.       Must be resourceful, flexible, detail-oriented, and adaptable.

7.       Able to teach English as a second language to young learners.

Qualifications and Requirements

1.         Bachelor's Degree or above.

2.         TEFL/TESOL/CELTA or a valid State/Provincial Teaching License.

3.         ESL teaching experience (teaching children/offline experience a plus)

4.         Native English speakers with neutral accent (preferably British).

5.         Only laptops or computers are accepted. Other devices such as phones and tablets are not allowed.

6.         Suitable background, lighting, and hardware to create the best learning environment.

iHuman project introduction

iHuman is a new project reshaping how English is taught online. Unlike traditional online education companies, iHuman students learn English inside a fantasy world. Students learn through exploring planets and interacting with characters inside an immersive story-based environment. Lessons are designed as part of a huge epic tale which takes the students on a journey to complete a special mission through learning English. The story keeps students fully engaged and full of curiosity as clues are revealed to the children at the end of each lesson. As the students progress through the course they will fall in love with the characters and realise their actions have an impact on whether the special mission will be completed.

Classes aim to connect children to the world around them through an advanced online teaching platform and world-class education resources from the comfort of their homes. Each unit students receive a beautifully theme-designed box full of resources to support their learning such as printouts, exercise sheets, topic related games, puzzles, paint sets and more. Before, during and after class students are strengthening their language acquisition in a fully engaging learning cycle.

We are looking for committed Teachers to join our experienced team at iHuman. Responsibilities include preparing lessons, presenting learning materials, and providing feedback to the iHuman team. Teachers are required to attend trainings and provide support to new teachers once they become established at the company. Classes are 40 minutes long with up to four students.
