The job entails working with children aged between 3-12 in our training schools in Jinan. The maximum class size is 10 so it a less stressful environment and syllabus has been merticuously prepared by me (of course any alterations/suggestions are always welcome) so the adjustment period will be very quick. You will be expected to work 40 hours a week (less if you want more teaching hours and very little office hours) but generally the work schedule is between 26-30 hours teaching time and the rest are office hours. We can negotiate this to best suit your preference. You will be expected to work 5 days a week with two days rest (these will be during the week as the weekends are our busiest times). We are a friendly company looking to expand, and as a teacher myself for many years I know the trials and hardships of it all so I'll be very sympathetic to any issues you have.
Further information:
I am a British national who has been living in Jinan for many years with good Chinese who can help you with any problems and show you around/help you get accustomed (including lessons plans, housing and tourism around Shandong). Jinan (also known as the "spring city" due to its large number of natural underground springs) is the provincial capital of Shandong, and has everything that a large modern city should have. It is also a transport hub making travelling around China very easy (Beijing is only an hour and fourty away on the train).
