WFH ESL Tutor for Adults

Join our EDGE Premium Team and work with adult learners improving their English for international business, career development, and business communication. Through structured lessons and professional interaction, you’ll help them communicate with confidence across borders.

• Type: Part-Time

• Rate: Php 180-220/hr

• Schedule: Classes run across global business hours, depending on client region.

  • All-day peak times include:
    • 5:00 AM to 2:00 PM
    • 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM
    • 7:00 PM to 12:00 AM
    • 12:00 AM to 4:00 AM

  • Should be available to teach 25hrs/week, with 2 rest days (one working weekend preferred)

• Students: Adults (professionals, executives, career-focused learners)

• Class Type: 1-on-1 and Small Group Sessions

• Region: Global

Minimum Requirements

• University graduate (Any 4-year course)

• Bachelor's Diploma and Transcript of Record (TOR)

• TEFL/TESOL Certificate (120 hrs+) – or willingness to obtain during training

• Strong spoken English proficiency (C2 level – EFSET required

• Philippine-issued bank account (for payroll purposes)

No ESL experience? No problem. We welcome:

• School teachers transitioning to online tutoring

• Corporate trainers or BPO professionals with excellent English and client-facing experience

• Experienced tutors from other platforms seeking premium assignments

• Passionate communicators who are new to online teaching but ready to learn

• OS: Windows 10+ / macOS 10.10+

• Internet (Main): Wired LAN, 25 Mbps+ (download & upload)

• Internet (Backup): Wired backup / Prepaid WiFi / Pocket WiFi, 15 Mbps+

• Webcam: External 1080p (1536x1024 or higher)

• Headset: Noise-cancelling, USB

• Monitor (Premium tutors only): 1366x768 or higher
