English Teachers for a Private Kindergarten and Primary School Needed in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Russia
KB Bridge School is looking for creative, hard-working, vigorous, enthusiastic, qualified full-time EFL/ESL teachers who enjoy educating kids and adults to work at our language school, primary school and kindergarten. There is a vacancy at the school and a vacancy in the kindergarten.
KB Bridge is one of the largest and most popular private schools in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk. In our school we perform four educational activities: language school, school of speed reading and intelligence development, primary general education school and bilingual kindergarten.
Our primary school is a regular school which has a governmental educational program. We are trying to improve our kids’ knowledge and skills so we add some useful and efficient courses to the standard program. We would like our primary students to start learning some school subjects in English (maths, science, PE, music, arts, etc.).
Supplementary education at KB Bridge are represented by the language school and school of speed reading and intelligence development, and the kids come to study supplementary educational programs after or before their regular schools.
Full-day nursery school (Kindergarten) is for kids of 12-36 months old and 3-7 years old. For younger kids we have short play-based English classes 2-5 times a week. Elder children can attend bilingual groups where the kids can go through language immerse: half of a day in English and the other half in Russian. The Kindergarten for 150 kids is in a new two-storied cottage in the southern part of the city.
Our main building is located in the city center. There are also three more sites: in the southeast of the city, in the suburb and in the nearby town (40 km). We have more than 300 students of all ages (children of 6-17 and adults) in all the above-mentioned programs. We work 12 months a year. The studying starts in September and ends in late May. In June - August we organize a full-day summer camp with studying English and speed reading. During a year there are also evening English classes for adults and international exams preparation courses.
A candidate should be ready:
- to teach different age groups (4-12 students in each group at school and up to 15 kids in the kindergarten) offline and online;
- to participate in school events.
Requirements:
- only British or US passport holders (due to some official restrictions);
- Bachelor’s or Master’s;
- certificates: TEFL/TESL/TESOL/CELTA, etc.;
- at least one-year TEFL/TESL pre-school or school experience;
- attending the orientation training;
- confident computer, smartphone applications and Internet user.
Working conditions:
