ESL School Teacher

Our company Apex Education provide English classes with Native Level English teachers in schools of Lviv and Kyiv cities. We're currently seeking teachers to start working from September. All teaching materials are provided, teachers don't have office hours. 

All candidates must understand the context of life in Ukraine: it's a war time, syrens and shelling are our new reality. However we only work with the schools that either have bomb shelters inside the schools or nearby.

Roles and Responsibilities: 
Teaching the provided syllabus using ESL methods
Participating in training workshops and meetings (once per 3 months)
Regular communication with our office 
Participating in demo lessons (paid ones)
Participating in video assessment lessons (paid ones)

Required/Desired Qualifications: 
Must be a native level English speaker
In-classroom ESL experience with the young learners (6-10 years old) at least 1 year 
TEFL Teaching Certificate or higher
BA degree 
Police Clearance Check 
Verifiable references
* within probation period and later we offer 600 UAH per hour depends on the working performance of a candidate and guarantee 15 hours as a minimum of working hours per week. Average number of working hours per week 18-25.

** the candidate arrives to Ukraine on a tourist visa. After completing probation period we organize the process of getting temporary residence card.
