Current Employee Reviews.

Very great commucation, super understanding company

Pros

-Don't need to prepare any material, all of the classes are premade and sent directly to us.

-I had a great experience teaching with this company as teachers can request a lot of time off each month. Perfect for travelers who are constantly on the move.

-Paid in dollars and I can get my check deposited directly into my bank account

-There are usually some empty timeslots during shifts and we get paid the full hour even if we didn't teach for a 30 minute period

-The company is very understanding if someone unexcepted happens and we miss a shift

-We have the option to drop shifts and see if another teacher will pick them up, if they're picked up they're no longer our responsibility

-Great experience with students; 99% are from Latin America and are very kind and eager to learn (At least for adults, I don't teach children)

-We have a Slack chat where we can connect with other teachers for advice, sharing stories, etc.

Cons

-The biggest con I can think of is that we get paid for a month at the end of the following month. For example, all of my shifts worked during September will only be paid to be at the end of October. It would be great to be paid biweekly but this might be a bigger cost to the company as they have to do international transfers.

-The pay is considered quite low in comparison to some other English teaching companies. The salary is still quite good for those of us living in Latin America though.

2. Another question will be in Spanish, to test your elementary understanding of the language, though it should be fairly simple (a past example is ‘Cómo te llamas? De donde eres? Donde vives?’).

3. Here is a list of some previous LatinHire interview questions

     - Tell me about yourself

     - Where did you learn to speak English?

     - Do you speak Spanish?
