Nope? Well, here are the tips you need to know.


Step 1: Greeting

Try to find out the real name of the recruiter or manager rather than using the general mode like “Dear Sir/Madam”.


Step 2: Divide your letter into 3 paragraphs

  • Paragraph 1: Introduction
  • No need to mention your name and the position you apply for
  • Show your excitement
  • Explain why you’re the right one for the position
  • Paragraph 2: Sale yourself
  • Highlight your accomplishments
  • Show your skills and abilities
  • Advertise your expertise

(Tips: not to copy all the things written on your CV, and tell your story.)

  • Paragraph 3: Personalize your cover letter
  • Do research on the company, including its status in the field, working concepts, departments and employees.
  • Show that you’re the perfect fit for the position and you’re professional


Step 3: Draw a conclusion

Tell them you’re looking forward to the interview

Tell them you’re willing to provide more information if needed


And do not forget to write down “sincerely and your name” at the end of the cover letter.
